Gregory Deibel I have so much to say about Cloud Gavin. Their style is such a great mix of eerie emotional vocals, heavy instruments, and thrilling lyrics. Definitely one of my favorite bands currently, and they need much more exposure!

Josh Thomson Masterpiece is a true Indie Masterpiece. This whole album speaks wonders and show the maturing of Zach and the whole band and them finding their sound they want. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't heard it, especially if you like bands like Brand New and Sunny Day Real estate. Favorite track: Masterpiece.

Pilot 04:09
There’s a pilot overseas and he crashing, crashing, crashing
But he’s seen it all before, all before.
But, you can’t blame yourself for every little fucking thing that has gone wrong before, wrong before

and he says “boy, get up, or you’re never going home again!" “Do you have the will to follow through?”
The boy replies “I have my legs, but I’ve no heart.”
"So, is it worth it if I’m not allocated?” You’ll believe it all, until you give in. Ignoble towns, petty keeps and empty caves They’re not a refuge, they’re not a harbor, nor a home.
If there is structure, if there is promise, if there is light Then I can’t stay, I won’t stay here for all my life.

You’ll believe it all, until you give in.

 What’s a body without it’s heart? (it’s a burning bridge, it’s a fallen tree) What’s a bird without it’s wings? (it’s a ship that is prone to sinking)
What’s a fish without it’s gills? (it’s a day too late, it’s a bad mistake)
What’s a crown without a king? (it’s a ship that is prone to sinking)

Yes, brother, I still have all of my faith. It’s all the things I don’t do that keeps me away.

Masquerade 04:33
Do you feel suspense? Do you feel it in your veins, like you’re feeling so expedient. Feeling like your boundaries have no walls to comprehend. If you’re feeling good, then keep the feeling going.
If they’re feeling good, then work your way into their heart, Even though love’s on your mind, you can’t lose your proper thought. Sink the weight of all your wishful thinking and foster all the things we’ve brought. Let’s get lost, Lose our minds and fill the voids that we’ve all got.
No comparative thoughts, just our bodies and our hearts . If you’re feeling good, then keep the feeling going.
If they’re feeling good, then work your way into their heart, Even though love’s on your mind, you can’t lose your proper thought. Sink the weight of all your wishful thinking and foster all the things we’ve brought. Because you can’t afford a miscalculation or a secondary path, Think of all the things we gave to get here and all the things we need to get back.
Don’t be the anchor around my ankle.
Don’t be the ball on the chain.
Don’t be the ship without a rudder
Sure as hell, Don’t be the cause of the blame. You, you make me weak. Just weak enough to lose my train of thought and the words I speak So I, will give in to you At least enough to get you out of that dress and off of those shoes. You, I know you well.
At least enough to know you can’t keep your lonely hands all by themselves for tonight. But you, you don’t know me well, But you know enough about the void you’re going try to fill for tonight.

Fox 04:30
It’s been a couple months, but we stay smooth.
Not a single lead as well as not a whole lot to do, but wait. Adamant, in clover days, hard to stop, yet even harder to walk away. Alright. Brushing all my tracks away with maple leaves.

Keep that smile on and act impressed,
You’re a sly as a fox and tough as a rock, you know. Make a common trail, drop some bread, Even once you go, you’re probably never going back again. Please.
Shells of words are grabbing hold of me, take the wined off. Shallow nights are slowly replaying, switch your mind off. Common thoughts of hollow gravity, tear your spine off. And Deal with it.
Brushing all my tracks away with maple leaves. Breaking new grounds, breaking simple irony. If I’ve the time to wait for a plan, then why am I here?
Move on, move on, move on, time to disappear.

Royalty 05:15
Lately, I’ve been shaking out of my own weathered skin. I’ve been breaking my back for constellations and settlement. My bones are as stable as the sand that I bear underneath my feet. I’ve been holding on apprehensively and I hate the fact you got the best of me. But, I can’t go back to that.
And I need some ground to grow, but you’ve gotta ask. Where are you now? Lately I’ve been breaking every single one of my fragile bones. You’ve been begging me to talk it out but, I haven’t been home, Well... I’ve got the words, but the not proper heart, at least currently as I wait. And I know You’ll always be apart of it, I just wish I’d let you be the best of it.
It’s so hard to trace my tracks. ‘cause I’ve been digging all these holes, Even though I’ve got a path, I’ve burned through a lot of those. But you’ve gotta ask. Where are you now? I don’t know.

Masterpiece 04:11
You know that I just can’t believe, so I’ll write it off for now,
until my weathered seeds grow straight from the ground.

You know that I just cannot see, so I’ll call it off for now,
until the whole damn world turns inside out of it’s skin.

 There’s you, then there’s me.
There’s you, and then there’s me.
But there’s no me, if there’s no you.
There’s no me, if there’s no you. You know that I’ve a craving heart, I just can’t get enough to fill it up,
I love and hate the fact that you leave it up, to me.

You know that I’ve been torn apart, but I hope that you don’t lose faith in me.
I have asphalt, just haven’t laid it properly.
You’re the only one that I truly trust,
If there’s only one thing I truly trust.

It’s you, then there’s me.
There’s you, and then there’s me.
But there’s no me, if there’s no you.
There’s no me, if there’s no you.

Fiasco 04:41
Congratulations, you’ve fooled everyone in this entire community. When I say everyone, I hope you know I don’t mean me. You’re a window in the sun, you’re an idea overdone to me, but only me. You came on by, as I used dishonesty, but it never seems to satisfy my craving for, pure love and honesty. When will I ever get this right? If you’re going to lie, then lie to me honestly, let me get what I deserve. You’re right on time, I’m dying dishonestly, we all will get what we deserve; In the end, we will all reply to things that we never had before. We’ll cry wolf, we’ll cry wolf, we’ll cry until we’re incompetent, until we’re all just a bag of bones, malleable and retractible. You came on by, as I used dishonesty, but it never seems to satisfy my craving for, pure love and honesty. When will I ever get this right? If you’re going to lie, then lie to me honestly, let me get what I deserve. You’re right on time, I’m dying dishonestly, we all will get what we deserve. I’m giving all my time away, going to give it all away. I tried to sell you on the things that I thought would have you settle for to satisfy me. Leave it up to me to figure out how to live alone, you’re on your own, again.

Posture 12:03
It’s the hole that was made in my head from the mistakes that I’ve made, from everything that I’ve lost to everything that I’ve gained. It’s my friends I want to try and keep close, but lack of conversation formulates them all into ghosts. It’s the cave that was made of my chest formed by the long nights of thought from everything I am, to everything that I’m not. It’s the love I want to keep in my heart, but lack of motivation seems to rip them apart. It’s the girls that I honestly loved, but never took it that far, because thought with my head and should of thought with my heart. It’s the things that I’d preferably change, but there’s no changing the past and I’m only to blame. It’s the memories haunting all of my dreams, like there’s a message beneath. I tried to dig up the dead, but words got stuck in my teeth. It seems I’ve lost all of my touch, or maybe it’s because I’m shallow and enough is never enough. I don’t want to be this way forever, I know there’s more than meets the eye. Can you feel it now? Can you feel it now? I can’t shake this feeling out of me. Though my bones are strong, my lungs are weak. Can you feel it now? Can you feel it now? I’ve come a long way back from where I was before, all I want is some fucking change, can you blame me for wanting that? I will open up like it’s my last day home. I know what I do, and I do it well, I do it so well. It’s not where you are, it’s who you’re with. (I’m calling you out) It’s not what you have, it’s what you make with it. (because I need to know) Sink, oh how I sink. There’s an anchor wrapped around my neck and dragging me beneath. I called you out like the storm in the sky, then you poured out an ocean’s worth of despondency. Cut me loose, make it clean, make the whole damn world collapse in disbelief. Forget the past, don’t let it show, just admit the fact you fucked things up and let it go.
